Vehicle history: A very early Giardinetta. During its lifetime the car has been repainted in a rather peculiar colour of red, the chrome bumpers have been replaced by third series Sud plastic ones, the headlights have been replaced by first series Alfasud TI ones, dashboard replaced by a first series Sud TI one, engine replaced by a twin doube carburettor type and the front seats have been replaced with something unknown. Apparently the car was used in the Monte Carlo rally as service vehicle. The last French owner bought this vehicle in 2003 from a now no longer existing Alfa Romeo dealer in Montélimar in the south of France The last French owner reported the vehicle in restoration in 2007 and he would bring it back to its original condition, however nothing has been heard of since. What a pitty for such an early Giardinetta.
