Vehicle history: A 904B2 that was originally delivered in the Netherlands and still has its original Dutch licence plates dating from the first registration in 1979. The owner before the current owner bought the car on March 23rd 1983 at a Mercedes dealer in the city of Sittard in the Netherlands. The current owner is the owner since March 13th 1989. The car has not been on the road since it was bought and is still awaiting re-use as of today (dated November 2011). A notable fact is that the VIN number specifies 904B, but the vehicle is actually a type 904B2. Apparently the addition of the "2" to the VIN number punched into the firewall was a feature that was added later in the production of the Giardinettas. | |||||
