Vehicle history:
This Giardinetta was first
registered in the Netherlands in 1978. The licence plate is a so called
"sleeping" licence plate which means the vehicle hasn't been registered
in a long time. After restoration the original Dutch licence plate can
be retrieved when the owner goes to the Dutch registration office RDW
and applies to get the original licence plate registration back. The
front end of the car is in poor condition due to corrosion matters, the
rear end of the car shows the usual but no severe issues. The car is
owned by a well known Dutch Alfa Romeo collector family.
This particular car was shown in the
English magazine "Practical Classics January 2015" in an article called
"Rust in peace". This 2 page article featured all kinds of Dutch project
cars which seem quite challenging.
