  Vehicle history: This Giardinetta was added to the Giardinetta register on January 30th 2011 with only a VIN number. Since no other information besides the VIN number was available the status was put to "unknown". In March 2016 this vehicle appeared on the well known international Alfa Romeo forum "Alfa Bulletin Board". Contacting the kind seller swiftly resulted in the finding that the car offered for sale is the AS*5008648*904A. According to the Alfa Romeo production data it was manufactured on te 2nd of January of 1978. This car was first registered in Germany on June 5th 1978. As the ad states it was owned by the Alfa Romeo dealer in Hockenheim. It was taken off the road in 1994 and sold to the gentleman who meticulously restored the AS*5001636*904B. The car which is complete is now awaiting a new owner to put it back to life. At one point in time the 1186cc engine was replaced with a 95 BHP 1.5l twin double choke carburettor engine.
