This instruction manual was written
by Alfa Romeo to serve as a guidance for boot hinge replacement of the
initial steel ones with improved aluminium ones which were less prone to
getting stuck. Due to the fact that this dealer instruction was written
in December 1975 there must have been some market claims regarding the
initial steel hinges to get stuck because the Giardinetta was introduced
in the market in 1975. The replacement was not mandatory, but in case of
a customer complaint the hinges could be replace with the newer
aluminium type ones.
